The Climb Begins, Not Only Do You Embrace It, You Welcome It!

ree

Imagine you are on a ride through valleys and canyons. The surroundings change as you ride and are overall pleasing. You embark upon some tough hills and slippery roads, but all are manageable and also enjoyable. The outcome of this ride produces benefits, physical fitness, mental clarity, a calm spirit.

You see a large mountain in the distance, but you are confident you can circumvent that climb, thus you ride along.

Unexpectedly, you turn a corner and there it is-this mountain is in front of you and there is no other way to get past it but to climb. You were not prepared for this. In fact, you had other plans for the day, great plans, plans that included luxurious pleasure. Nothing you had anticipated for this day included struggle, pain, or potential failure.

As you contemplate your options, you decide this will be the climb of your life. You are equipped with tools to do it, you are not a stranger to challenge, and failure is not in your vocabulary.

You mentally remove what were your plans for the day, knowing that on the other side of this mountain exists an abundance of even better plans.

The climb begins, not only do you embrace it, you welcome it.

You do not know what exists on the other side, but you focus on what you know will be a positive outcome, a better place.

You are a champion.

Champions climb mountains-because they must, and they can.
