On Thursday evening, October 9th, The Inn on Sea Island was transformed into a magical gallery of sight and sound. Eight artists and two sculptors from The Contemporary Art Alliance of Georgia (CAAGA) presented their spectacular works throughout the lobby, while a jazz musician serenaded guests with smooth, soulful melodies.
Guests were greeted with a flute of champagne and invited to wander through each curated section, where artists shared the inspiration and techniques behind their creations. The Inn delighted attendees with elegant hors d’oeuvres prepared by The Market on Sea Island, which never disappoints, while many enjoyed happy-hour pricing on fine wines and signature cocktails at the bar.
With over 200 attendees, the evening was a resounding success — a celebration of creativity, community, and culture. Guests lingered well past the closing hour, expressing their desire for more events of this caliber on the Island.
A Guest’s Reflection
“Amazing evening. For three hours, Nina and Bettina transported the unsuspecting guests from the conservative southern beachfront community of Saint Simons Island to an A-list SoHo exhibition. The event resuscitated the pulse of abstract art and was exactly the tonic this island greatly needed. Well done, ladies — and cheers to a group of talented and passionate artists!”
